  Came here with my girlfriend because: 1) it was easy access from the Santa Ana River bike path and 2) because they have gluten free options (clearly listed on their website).
  Esham helped us order and he was extremely helpful. The gf bun was good and the grass fed beef was really tasty & juicy. Esham was so helpful, he even came to check on how our food was.
  We will definitely come back here, both because of the great service, but also because of the menu is so accessible with gluten free and vegan. One thing I wish they'd fix on the menu: only smoked gouda is listed as GF (the the rest should be gluten free).
  One big tip for bikes - there is a place to lock bikes on the west side of the patio area. You can even see it from the patio if you want to watch your wheels.

  Burgers and food are fantastic!!! Super good and delicious! Only problem is that the guy working the register was in such a bad mood, no eye contact, poor attitude, and made us feel rushed. We went back a few times for refills and other things and that was his attitude the entire time. I would give 5 stars for the food. And 2 stars for the service.

  My friend and I came here after a beach day. We were able to walk from the beach to Burger Boss in under 15 min! My friend is a vegetarian so it definitely was not my first choice in burgers (In N Out will always be my go-to!). I'm glad I got to try it because it was a pretty great meal.
  
  It is build your own style including the sauce chosen to put in your burger. I got the turkey patty with chipotle mayo. I used the check in to get free fries. The burger itself was good. I liked the chipotle mayo and the toppings I had chosen. The turkey patty was decent, but not very praise worthy.
  
  HOWEVER, I thought the fries were SO GOOD. Yes, it was free with the check in, but I would have paid for them separately as well because they were that good. They were perfectly seasoned, crunchy on the outside yet potato soft in the inside, and a great portion.
  
  The place was very clean which I loved as well. Next time, I'd like to try their meat patties.

  Customizable burgers and fries, served in a casual fast food style. This Burger Boss location is placed in a prime spot on PCH in Newport Beach. The interior is spacious and immaculately clean, with stark modern decor and lots of seating. You order your burger (and/or fries) in a 5 step process. Choose your protein, then your bun, cheese (+$1), sauces (they have a huge selection), and finally, toppings, most of which are free. A few options like avocado, grilled mushrooms, etc are $1 extra.
  
  I kept things relatively classic with a Black Bean Burger on a White Kaiser bun with ketchup, mustard, pickles, grilled onions, and lettuce. The bean burger itself was bland and mushy, but consisted of a hearty portion. The Kaiser bun was too thick and not toasted enough, making every bite about 70% bread. The grilled onions were somehow completely flavorless, but the other toppings helped and made the burger as a whole edible, but not particularly enjoyable. My boyfriend got a regular beef burger and was equally unimpressed.
  
  The Fresh Cut Fries were very good-tender but perfectly crisp and full of delicious authentic Russet potato flavor without being too oily or salty. Staff were helpful and friendly, even offering me water while I waited. I will likely come back here for fries, but hope they make attempts to improve the vegetarian patty option, or perhaps offer the Beyond Burger or Impossible Burger patty instead.

  Adolfo Alex esham all we're super polite and welcoming when I walked in. Ordered my food said give me a min left phone in the sand came back. My burger was ready and talk about bomb.
  
  Chipotle sauce onburger was awesome and the grilled mushrooms were excellent choice e by esham to add to my burger.
  
  Will come back again for my burger and chili ate chip cookie.
